Slow to get going and the action never really arrived at all. It was amusing to see her cook the beans and wash his socks, like it was in the good old days. Id say Hemingways book was miles better. Maria really gave me the horn though.

Classic classic

Very good film, only in 1943 would Hollywood have made a pro-left film. This has several scenes cut form the original video release such as recollection of republicans making fascists running a gauntlet. Classic film.
