Oh God please make it stop

This is the fascinating story of one of the most controversial
people who ever lived. A man who effected and affected the lives of millions and whose influence is felt to this day. And for some reason the story is told in 'shuffle' mode. We see our hero and his partner enter a lift as elderly men in the 60's they leave the lift as young men back in the 50's. Why? We are given versions of well known stories but they truncated and twisted so we don't know what we're watching.
Why am I being so harsh? The acting is brilliant but for a film I was looking forward to it's a shambles.

Worth Watching

Very interesting story revealing the life of Hoover. It makes me want to delve a little deeper into the story as he was a strange character going by this film. Di Caprio was convincing in the role but was let down by the make up aging him, it was badly done, however Naomi Watts looked perfectly convincing. I enjoyed Armie Hammer who you might recognise from his role(s)! as the Winklevoss twins from 'the social network'
Should be great..but...

Over all, the best thing you can say about it is that it was "very interesting" and beautifully filmed and I would in no way say it was not a good film but I expected more from Mr Eastwood. Worth watching but there is a better film to be made about J edger Hover
Unsatisfying experience

Quite an unpleasant film about an unpleasant individual. Coming from Clint Eastwood I found it very disappointing.
