Same story but well told with great photography

The director adds a little spice to the well known storyline by chopping the time line. It works well. The acting performances vary, Mia... is very good as the shy Jane, not sure about her portrayal of the other aspects. Fassbender doesn't have the same presence as Orson Welles (but who does) but does a competent job. The bleached out colour of the film conveys well the bleak but stunning landscapes. Overall the film was enjoyable if a little slow at times.
Worth the 120 minute watch. If you haven't read the book, do!
Great Film

Jane Eyre. You know the story and so you know what to expect. It is what you think it'll be. Well acted and engaging. but i spent a lot of the film thinking the BBC would have this on as a 2 parter at Christmas and I'd enjoy it more.
Stunning

Mad into period dramas I absolutely adored this version of Jane Eyre. The cinematography was just gorgeous, with some absolutely stunning scenes - and sure Fassbender plays Mr Rochester - what more could you ask for!
Brilliant story

No where near as good as book or original movie but thought it was watchable thought they skipped over a lot of it but dwelled on some too long .
