5 out of 10 A Complex, Clever Puzzle
Brian from Dublin, 14 Apr 2010
If you dont like intelligent films that challenge you then this film is not for you. However, if you like a film to engage your mind then this is a great neo-noir thriller. The genius of this film doesnt lie in its story, but rather, how the story is told. Director Chris Nolan structures the film so that it takes you into Leonards fractured world. 4 out of 10 Good enough but you have to think
Mark from Dublin, 18 Aug 2010
Same fella that did Inception so I kind of knew that the plot would be complex, slightly put off becauase someone told me they didnt enjoy it, but I actually enjoyed this movie interesting seeing the mini plotlines behind lennies pictures and how he came to his conclusions. Some will hate it but I really enjoyed this.

I found that if you want to find out what is going on in the movie in first go you should have got a good short memory otherwise you have to watch it twice to enjoy it. but when you got that, the movie would be amazing

Leonard (Pearce) is an insurance investigator whose memory has been damaged following a head injury he sustained after intervening in his wife's murder. Subsequently, the quality of his life is severely hampered and he can now only live a comprehendible life of prolific note-taking, tattooing notes on himself and taking pictures of things with a Polaroid camera. As his memories come to him, Leonard badly yearns for revenge of his wife's murder. But as numerous characters...
