Very slow moving

Because it won all those awards, I thought I would be really moved by this. However I am glad I was watching it alone as I could fast-forward some of the very long silent stretches. All I can say is that it's based on true events, is quite sad and spiritual, and the monks/priests hardly seemed like they were acting at all...more like you were getting to see their real day-to-day lives.
A slow burner

A very dramatic ending that is touching as it's true. This one is a slow piece of movie that it made a sensitive viewer. Shows another way of life; the sacrifice, the beauty and personal joy and the harshness. Worth a watch.
