1.5 out of 10 What a stupid story
MJ from Dublin, 06 Jan 2012
Well, some good kung fu maybe but the story is really stupid, so many details can't match each other, full of airs and graces, i.e. why did Dre go to say sorry to the girl's father while he did nothing wrong at all, and why the father changed attitude completel? What's more, how many people are still living in the old-styled red door house in BJ? marjority of them have been destroyed for the GDP growth.

2 out of 10 Good Family Movie
Jennifer from Dublin, 30 Jan 2011
Feel good movie for all the family. I watched it with my 5 year old girl and 3 year old boy and we all loved it. Young Smith was excellent in the role and played the karate scenes like a true pro. Having seen the original in its day and loving it I was pleasantly surprised by this remake. Well worth seeing.

4.5 out of 10 Karate Kid
Trish from Limerick, 04 May 2011
Great movie, great acting and great action. Although you know how it is going to end it still keeps you on the edge of your seat. Chan is excellent as usual

In the land of kung fu, Dre knows only a little karate, and Cheng puts "the karate kid" on the...
