Not a lot happens but worth a look

This is a pure arthouse film. Most of it involves the deadpan Bill Murray and the camera. It has its own funny moments but this is a film where very little happens at all. It is also somewhat disjointed in that the locations in the film for the most part are irrelevant. That said it is not without interest. As Murray travels the country he becomes far more convinced of the need for the quest. You also find yourself as bewildered as the former girlfriends he hunts down.

On my list of worst movies this is the rock bottom one. We honestly watched it at x4 speed and did not miss a thing. Its so sad it makes you laugh. The message itself is good, but scenes are predictable and way over-extended, you can tell the whole story in three sentences. Worst movie we've ever seen.

I just dont get it!!! And just when I thought I was starting to get it, it ended!!! And it ended without answering several questions. I will say that there was nothing wrong with the acting. EVeryone earned their salaries except the writer and the director.

I have been a big Jim Jarmusch fan for about 10 years now, and this is his only film that tested my patience. Uninteresting characters, uninteresting dialogue, nothing really of worth to be found here. Go watch Down by Law for the director at his peak.
