With Father’s Day this Sunday we should all be thinking about spending some quality
time with the ole lad, and what better way to do that then with a good movie. Here
are some of the best movies out there to watch together.
Star Wars– Suitable for those estranged from the father figure or if your name is actually Luke. Also full
of timeless effects and lots of action, it’s great for Father’s and sons alike.
Father of the Bride – Perfect Father daughter movie – when all you want to say is
I’m sorry for growing up; moving away, finding a significant other and thereby deeming
you useless, but I still love you!
The Godfather – Ok so your Dad wasn’t mega rich
and couldn’t make your wildest dreams come true just by talking nicely to the right
people but hey he gave you morals.
Kramer Vs Kramer – if your Dad made the transition
from absent parent to ideal father even if it was only for that one day, it doesn’t
matter now because you know he would have done the same for you as Dustin Hoffman
did for little Billy.
To Kill A Mocking Bird – Atticus Finch one of the world’s
most famous Dads. Your dad may not be as infamous but you should thank him for the
many valuable lessons he thought you.
So there you are five excellent movies to watch with your Dad. Don’t forget to send your old man the
Dad membership email
that will give him one month free rental so he too can get all his favourite movies
including the classics, westerns and the rat pack straight to his door. If you didn’t
receive your Dad Membership please send an email to support@screenclick.com or
check out the link provided. Plus dont forget to vote in our Father's Day Poll.

Staff Choice: Closing the Ring
With a host of quality actors including Shirley MacLaine, Christopher Plummer, Pete Postlethwaite, Neve Campbell
and Mischa Barton, this movie delivers a touching emotive story. Based in the nineties, two families from opposite corners of
the world are connected by one night in Belfast during World War II. It touches on the troubles in Northern Ireland though Attenborough
(Director) doesn’t allow it to overshadow the real tale of love, loss and built up resentment. The movie is complete with a drizzling of
comedy from the young talented Northern Irish actor Martin McCann. Add to your rental list today.
